We meet the second Saturday of each month to work on our unfinished projects. Optional activities include eating, power naps, learning a new quilt block, sharing tips about quilting, giving advice and planning new projects. Our group is always growing, so PLEASE, it is very helpful to sign-up in advance. Bring your own lunch or something healthy to share and whatever project and tools you will be needing. We have fun!

You can use flower pounding to create beautiful designs on fabric and then add to a quilted piece or appliqué onto a plain background. This technique allows you to transfer the dye from plants to pieces of fabric. The fabric gets a special chemical treatment first so the plant dyes are stable. The instructor will have prepared fabric for everyone to use in class and will give out the formula to create your own fabric.
